What we've been up to

Literally, we've been packing and unpacking, packing and unpacking, packing and unpacking, packing and unpacking.....

Packing up the old house

and unpacking the new home

Two days later, packing up for Canada Day

And unpacking Canada Day (okay, it was just snacks, a stroller and lawn chairs...but I couldn't find half of those things, so it took almost 3 hours and 30 boxes!)

The next day, we packed up for day trip to visit Dad in Naramata. (Oh wait, and then unpacked from Naramata)

Two weeks later, we packed up for our vacation to Oregon, and are currently unpacking from that trip.

Between all of that packing and unpacking, we've been gardening,

cleaning up messes (oh Micah, the regurgitator)

cutting hair (both boys)

playing in our new playhouse (thanks Uncle Jon and Auntie Sarah)

installing baby gates and "security" systems to prevent tumbles down stairs (only a little too late, eh Micah)

snuggling baby Deklan

starting a new job

cleaning up sand (oh the sand)

and doing oodles of laundry.

We hope to be back to this old blog soon. But its preservation season (hello canning!). And visiting with friends from Korea and Philippines season. And kids staying up late so we can walk in the cool evening air season. And finish unpacking those last few boxes season.
 Soon folks, soon.

New Home: Day 1

Do you see what I see? Boys happily playing in the dirt, while I unpack boxes take their picture.

Day one at the new house involved a lot of exploration, plenty of sandy clothes and two happy boys.

The added bonus was there there is SO much space, that I didn't trip over the boys at all. Which is a HUGE blessing to me. Normally, I spend half my day tripping over boys or toys or being annoyed that there is no space for me to walk. But day one brought change. And made me one happy momma!
